About The Author

John Diamantis is originally from Sydney, Australia, where he grew up in a large, creative family that nurtured a love for music, storytelling, and strong family values.

Now based in London for over 15 years, John has built a diverse career in the arts, with a background in acting, writing and dance, as well as teaching creative workshops for children.

A natural storyteller, John created the Misty and the band series to inspire children to be creative, encourage good friendships, and embrace a sense of adventure.

His stories reflect his belief in the power of imagination and the importance of kindness, teamwork, and self-expression.

Outside of his creative work, John cherishes his role

as an uncle to his niece and nephew, Sebastian and Artemisia, and loves spending time with them on adventures, outings, and shared learning experiences that spark curiosity and wonder.
